The Bakery Atlanta presents A Body for Hunger and Desire, Too, an exhibition curated by MN Nunes. Opening September 12, 2024, this multidisciplinary show will explore the ways we seek sustenance in the face of systemic denial. Through drawing, relief, installation, painting, sculpture, performance, and lens-based work, artists delve into the connections between hunger, satiation, urgency, authority, and desire.

Attendees are encouraged to make a donation in lieu of an RSVP, although entrance is always free. Sixty percent of the donations will support Sol Underground's abolitionist efforts, while forty percent will help The Bakery Atlanta continue promoting equitable arts ecosystems. Your contribution not only secures your spot but also helps sustain vital community initiatives.

Opening Reception: September 12, 2024, from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Gallery Hours: 12 PM to 5 PM, September 12 - 17, 2024.
