The Bakery Atlanta and the Emory’s Center for Ethics and Ethics and the Arts Program is proud to present a group exhibition highlighting the expansive, and often overlooked, dimensions of reproductive justice.
“A Network of Autonomy” highlights social and environmental justice along with caregiving, mutual aid, and the medical system aiming to ignite reflections on what we lose when reproductive care is viewed solely through the clinical lens. Featuring work by Atlanta artists Amber Rissman, Cecilia Rodriguez, Heather Bird Harris, Hiroko Kelly, Janelle Dunlap, Katy Beltrán, and Savannah O’Leary.
Please join us on Thursday, March 20th for the opening reception which will feature two performances choreographed by Hiroko Kelly and Cecilia Rodriguez, performed by Hiroko Kelly, Maggie Harrison, Leah Lipshutz,Sofia Tovar, Marley Crosby.
