About the Exhibition

AvantBeetle presents Lyric, a curated selection of experimental and alternative video games from around the world, exploring the intersection of interactive media and fine art. This exhibition highlights games that embrace poetic storytelling, expressive language, and deeply personal themes—works that challenge conventional game design and use interactivity as a medium for emotion, introspection, and artistic expression.

Lyric is a celebration of developers who push the boundaries of video games, crafting experiences that are as moving as they are unconventional. Whether through fragmented poetry, evocative narratives, or abstract mechanics, these games invite players to engage with art in a new and immersive way.
