Join The Bakery Atlanta and author Hugh “H.D.” Hunter for a Writing Class at The Supermarket.
In this course, writers will have an opportunity to learn some technical and creative elements of craft, as well as functional writing skills that can support their efforts to publish work on a self, indie, or traditional professional level. We’d like to tailor this course as much as possible to the desires of the participants. Please choose one craft topic and one technical topic and one industry topic you’d like to focus on during the session. There will also be time throughout for questions.

Hugh believes in the communal form of teaching and learning, so please come with your knowledge! There will be chances to share, listen, practice, collaborate with peers, and ask questions. Writing is for everyone, and is uniquely personal to everyone. We’re excited to build with you.
About the instructor:
Hugh “H.D.” Hunter is a storyteller, teaching artist, and community organizer from Atlanta, Georgia. He’s the author of Torment: A Novella and Something Like Right, as well as the winner of several international indie book awards for multicultural fiction. You can find his work online in Porter House Review.
🚪The main entrance is 638 N. Highland Ave at The Shops at Otto’s. Enter through the door to the left of Colette Bread and Bakeshop. This door leads you down a hallway and staircase to the space.
