Whether you’re a complete beginner or have tried crochet before, this class is designed to introduce you to the essential techniques, including how to hold the hook, work with yarn, and create basic stitches. You’ll be guided step by step through the process so you can confidently get started on your crochet journey.
This project is perfect for beginners, as it incorporates simple stitches and allows you to practice as you work. By the end of the class, you’ll have your very own handmade pot holder to take home and use in your kitchen. We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity shine as we craft together and share the joy of crochet!

1) The Supermarket's main entrance is located at 638 N Highland Ave NE. Our door is in between Big Softie and Collette Bakeshop leading you down a hallway and a staircase.
2) Need less stairs? Have a stroller or use a walking aid? Use our secondary entrance in the middle of Otto's parking lot. The decorative black metal gate leads you through a courtyard. (Note: this door is currently open until 7pm then becomes an exit only.)
3) Need a fully accessible entrance without any stairs? We have a back entrance in a public alleyway behind the building. You can enter the alley off of North Ave NE or from Otto's parking lot. Our entrance is the white door at the SW corner of the building.
